This customer is a massive Prince fan, and commissioned me to make a doormat with this quote. 

It took a lot of testing to figure out that Flex Seal is actually quite durable on doormats, so I cut a stencil on the Cricut and carefully sprayed the flex seal over it. 

I used alcohol ink to give more depth to the background and touch up anywhere where Flex Seal got that it shouldn't have.

I made this for my sister-in-law for Christmas 2020. She works in microbiology so she appreciated the humor.

My mother taught me how to sew and cross stitch when I was little and I'm grateful to have those skills. Even so, I hate sewing. My brain is just too chaotic for the precision required in those crafts.
