1/26/26 Update:
There's a weird upside to working primarily with physical (non-digital) mediums: when I sculpt something out of clay I don't get asked (or worse, accused) if I used AI to create the thing. Weird sign of the times.

So lemme clear up any ambiguity:

I fucking hate AI "art" and I do not use AI to make ANY of my art.

Full transparency: I took a screenshot of one of the Rebel Loons and modified it with Corel PaintShop Pro. Because this isn't a 100% original piece, I chose not to include my own logo.

Anyone who wants to use my Rebel Goldfinch is free to do so- no licensing, no royalties, no fees, no kickbacks. This is FREE art for the cause! Use it however you want, if you want.

2/11/26 Update:

When I initially shared this design, I made a point to state that I wasn't going to profit off it because it feels icky to profit off a cause like this. I really don't want to be perceived as an opportunistic money-grubber.

But I have been asked *repeatedly* for handmade items using my Rebel Goldfinch, and I do in fact have bills to pay. So, I have decided to handmake some items that aren't offered by big printing shops.

Fifty percent of the profits from all of my handmade Goldfinch items will be donated to an organization in Iowa that helps those targeted by ICE (currently TBD).

I will begin selling these items at my booth at Gamicon Bromine. Once I get my bearings after Gamicon, I will list my handmade Rebel Goldfinch items in my online shop.

Also, because of the flack I have gotten for my creative process (apparently the concept of Found Object Art does not translate well to Digital Art) I am currently working on a completely original, slightly “spicier” design that leans more into the Mocking Jay vibe rather than the Star Wars vibe. Those items should be ready sometime in April.
